State Attorney Asking Washington to Investigate Shots Fired on Border
The Texas State Attorney General is asking Washington to investigate an incident of shots fired near Fort Hancock, Texas by Mexican gunmen into the United States.
Reports of shots fired at U.S. workers, who were doing road work in the area, was reported on Thursday and Texas officials believe the shots were fired by smugglers who use the area for cross border operations. Attorney General Gregg Abbott says shootings into Texas from Mexico are putting Texans at risk. He wants the House of Representatives to investigate into the attacks.
