Southwest airlines is giving customers a chance to cut in line for a fee as the airline has opened seating with boarding in A,B, and C groups which are normally based on how soon a customer checks in. For a $40 dollar fee, flyers can jump into the A group to get on sooner and pick the seat they want with the boarding option being purchased at the gate. Customers will have to make that purchase up to 45 minutes before boarding and only when space is available on that flight.
