Shuffle At The Top
Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and Governor Rick Perry now stand at the top of the 2012 GOP Presidential hopefuls.
If anyone was expecting the Battle of Waterloo, last night's Republican dinner in Iowa fell short.
Presidential Candidate Michele Bachmann said, "You are carrying that voice to Washington and I want you to be the President to help turn this country around."
Michele Bachmann, winner of Saturday's Straw Poll, returned victorious to her hometown.
But she didn't mix it up with the new candidate on the block, Texas Governor Rick Perry.
"I know on face that's kind of simple but I mean the fact is we gotta have courage to walk into Washington D.C. and say folks we're not spending that amount of money," said Presidential Candidate Rick Perry
The two candidates came and left without even acknowledge each other.
The Straw Poll propelled Bachmann and Perry into the top tier of GOP candidates with Mitt Romney.
The Straw Poll also crushed the hopes of Tim Pawlenty, who dropped his campaign after finishing a dismal third.
"I'm going to be ending my campaign for President, but I'm very, very grateful for the people of Iowa," said Pawlenty.
Later today, President Obama heads to Iowa as part of a three day, three state bus tour, to deliver his message to middle America.
