Shots were fired in two aggravated robberies in the upper Valley last night.

The first took place in Weslaco at the Chapa II subdivision where sheriff deputies say a group of men stormed into a residence armed with high powered weapons and demanding cash. It’s still unclear what they took off with and deputies are yet to release a description of the men they are searching for at this time.

The second incident occurred in Donna home and deputies say one of the two men was armed with a shotgun. The men left the home with an undetermined amount of cash and no injuries were reported.

If you have any information on any of these robberies please contact the sherff's department at 956.688.TIPS.
