Sheriff Deputy Indicted on Bribery Charges.

A Cameron County Sheriff deputy has been indicted on charges of bribery and smuggling goods from the United States.

Jesus Longoria was arrested more than two weeks ago and is accused of knowingly attempting to export U.S. merchandise including 13 semi-automatic firearms. Longoria also allegedly accepted money in exchange for facilitating the passage of a vehicle through a federal inspection station which contained semi-automatic firearms.
