Shelter Officials Recommend Bringing Pets Inside For The Next Few Days

Even though people can go inside and make themselves hot cocoa, animals can't. With the chilly temperatures looming, animal shelters across the upper valley want to remind pet owners that leaving your animals outside within the next few days may be fatal...

Darin Landrum is the Executive Director for the Palm Valley Animal Center.
He says that if you usually leave your pets outside, bring your pets inside for the next few days..

Right now the shelter is at maximum capacity with dogs and cats waiting for adoption.
Many animal shelter in the Upper Valley are doing whatever they can to protect the animals from the freezing temperatures coming this way.
