SHARYLAND — The Sharyland I.S.D. has selected Dr. Filomena Leo as their new interim Superintendent after former Superintendent Scott Owings resigned.

Sharyland I.S.D. reports that Dr. Leo is a former La Joya I.S.D. Superintendent who has also worked as a consulting agent for Region 13 in Austin. The district says they are negotiating on Dr. Leo's contract and hope to have her on board after Spring Break.
