Sexual Offender Given an Additional Years in Prison
A sex offender already locked up for violating his probation in connection to a sexual assault of a teen, gets an additional 50 years in prison for yet another crime against a second child in a unrelated case, Na'tassia Finley has more.
50 additional years were tacked on to the 50 that Rolando Saucedo had received. He is no stranger to the 138th District court room of Judge Arturo C. Nelson who sentenced him to 50 years for violating his probation to a sexual assault of a Laguna Vista teen. In Monday's case, Saucedo pleaded out, in his involvement with a 10 year-old girl which did become sexual after breaking into her room back in August of 2009.
Chief First Assistant Charles Mattingly Jr., from the Cameron County District Attorney's Office, says he's satisfied with the outcome, but says it's still unfortunate that the now 11 year-old victim lost her innocence at the hands of Saucedo. The message the DA's office wants to strongly express, you violate or harm a child here in Cameron county, we will send you to prison for the majority of your life.
