Seventh attack reported near University of Michigan campus.

Police in Ann Arbor, Michigan are investigating another sexual assault near the University of Michigan campus.

Police said the incident happened about 12:01 a.m. Tuesday when a 20-year-old woman was walking south on the 400 block of South First Street near William Street.

She was approached from behind by a man who grabbed her arm and forcibly fondled her.

She was able to break free, police said.

Police describe the woman's attacker as a dark-skinned man with a medium build.

He was wearing a baseball cap and had light-colored hair.

The victim is not a student at the university.

Ann Arbor has been on edge since a series of attacks on women in July.

In the earlier attacks, two women were raped and four others were grabbed or fondled before breaking free.

Those attacks were mostly downtown.

Police have said one or two men may be to blame for the attacks.
