DONNA- A semi-truck carrying a corrosive substance flipped over on its side Thursday.

Fire crews blocked the area as they tried to lift it back up. Weslaco-Donna's Emergency Management Coordinator George Garret says no spill occurred from the event.
 

Garret says the driver was trying to make a turn and the tires got stuck in the ditch, causing the semi to turn over.
 

No one was injured and no homes were threatened.
