MCALLEN - The search continues for a young man believed to have fallen into a canal South of McAllen.

18 Year old Andres Frias was fishing on the bank with his friends, when he decided to jump in.

That was the last he was seen.

Now Fire Fighters are trying to search open water areas of the canal.

Fire Fighters tell us there are no air pockets in the canal so hope for survival looks slim.

Right now it's just about Recovery.
