School bus driver, picking up students, arrested for intoxication
A Central Texas school bus driver is under arrest, charged with driving a bus full of students, while intoxicated.
A Rosebud-Lott high school student sent a text to her mother on Monday morning saying the bus driver was recklessly driving.
The mother then called authorities to check out what was going on and police located the bus pulling the bus driver over.
Police reported the bus had about 40 to 50 students on board ranging and ranging from grade levels in elementary to high school.
The driver, Ralph Ucciferro, was given a breathalyzer test and failed resulting in his arrest and being charged with intoxication.
The District Superintendent says the driver, who's been employed with the district for 15 years, will likely be fired.
