School Board Finds No Wrongdoing by Teacher of Student
SAN BENITO — San Benito I.S.D. officials have found no wrongdoing against a teacher accused of mishandling a student.
The parent, who filed a complaint, had asked that the teacher, Sandra Tumberlinson, at Berta Cabaza middle school be suspend for allegedly grabbing the student forcefully and taking him to the principal's office back on October of 2011. The Superintendent, the principal of the school and the school board found no wrong doing, but the parent does plan on pursuing criminal charges against Tumberlinson.
