A Saudi Princess is under arrest in California and charged with human trafficking.

It seems like Saudi Princes Meshael Alayban has fallen from grace

She was arrested on human trafficking charges and is being held on bail.

She's the wife of a Saudi Prince but now she's under arrest for human trafficking.

Meshael Alayban was taken into custody Wednesday at her Southern California condominium.

For allegedly forcing a 30-year old Kenyan woman to be a domestic slave.

"She was working seven days a week, day and night, 16 hours a day, not free to leave, having to do whatever work they told her to do, like washing dishes, taking care of kids."

The Orange County district attorney says the victim, whose name is not being released, started working for the family in Saudi Arabia in 2012.

Earlier this year the couple brought the woman to the US, but then refused to give her passport back, and on Tuesday afternoon the victim escaped the home.

"She waved a bus down, she got on the bus and she started asking for police and saying that she was the victim of human trafficking."

Authorities say the 42 year old Saudi Princess could face more charges, after police found four Filipino women working at the home,  whose passports had also allegedly been taken.

But an attorney for Alayban says the matter is really a dispute over hours worked and wages paid.

Orange county authorities disagree.

"This is the United States of America and we will enforce the law and we will protect those people, so if they are in that circumstance we'd like to see them come forward.

Alayban is currently being held on $5 million dollars bail.

She faces up to twelve years in prison if convicted.
