Plane crash lands on crowded Florida beach.
A small plane with two people on-board made an emergency landing on Florida's Crescent Beach Sunday.
The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said everyone on-board and on the beach is fine.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
Witnesses on the beach said the plane flew just seven feet above their heads.
The Pilot, Dan Holiday, said the plane's engine went out, forcing him to land on the sand.
Holiday and a female companion were on their way back to St. Augustine from Ft. Pierce when the incident happened.
Holiday saidthe engine stopped due to a lack of fuel, even though he had plenty in the tank when he took off.
He said it will be up to his mechanic to solve the mystery.
