San Juan Police Get Training on Child Abuse Cases

Local police agencies are continuing their professional training in San Juan and the topic of the training is child abuse.

The session is composed of law enforcement agencies from Weslaco, Edinburg, San Benito and the county constable. Police say that there's been over a thousand cases reported of child abuse in the Valley. The training will help officers better investigate physical abuse and sexual abuse towards children in their jurisdiction.
