Jurors in another courtroom reached a verdict of guilty for a man charged with sexual assault.

After a four day trial and six hours of deliberating the jury convicted Rene Rivas of sexual assault and assault. San Benito police accused him of sexually and physically assaulting a 26 year-old woman last December. Judge Janet Leal sentenced Rivas to 20 years in prison.
