HARLINGEN - The Rotary Club and Child Protective Services team up every year to make sure that children without a home get just that.

Each November the Rotary Club in the Valley works with Child Protective Services to hold picnics throughout the Valley where potential parents wishing to adopt a child meet those children who are adoptable. Rotary Club member Lionel Betancourt stated, "Children that need loving parents, there are children that need parents and this is an opportunity for children that are older 16, 17 years-old are introduced to prospective parents."
