HARLINGEN - Bond was set at a quarter million dollars for Franklin Edgardo Ortiz  who was charged with aggravated assault.

Police say Ortiz hit a man with his gun and robbed the victim near a El Zarape restaurant on Monday evening. Police were able to spot Ortiz as he ran off from the location of the crime.
