RIO HONDO, TEXAS (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — The liquid waste project, out in the City of Rio Hondo, is no more after city commissioners decided to terminate the contract that would allow partners, Dewatering International of San Antonio, to treat car wash waste and restaurant grease at the city's sewer plant and then release the treated material into the Arroyo Colorado. Because of breach of contract, on the city's part, both parities will likely enter into arbitration.
