Reverend charged with criminal mischief
EDINBURG, TEXAS (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — Edinburg Reverend Eusebio Martinez was charged with criminal mischief and turned himself into police after a arrest warrant was issued.
Lt. Officer Joel Morales commented on the case saying, "The criminal mischief charge stems from the allegation that he damaged some tires of the vehicle to the victim." Martinez is a reverend for the Holy Family Catholic Church and the victim claimed that after a disagreement between the reverend a family member, Martinez began to stalk them over the last two years.
The victim's son, Martin Villanueva, said, "Yes it has happened more than once, I have the footage and I gave it to the police department and it took him a while to get him, but they got him." Martinez was given a personal recognizance bond of $2,000 dollars.
