CAMERON COUNTY - A new housing report bears bad news for the real estate market in the Brownsville/Harlingen area.

Foreclosure rates are on the rise and September figures place the foreclosure rate at just over 1.5%  which is up from last year. The good news is that the mortgage delinquency rate is around 5% which is down from last year.
