A replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall has made it's way to the Valley for residents to visit.

The 250 foot long wall has the names engraved of soldiers who were killed in battle during the Vietnam War. More than 58,000 soldiers died during the war with 143 soldiers from South Texas. The healing wall is open to the public and on site computers and volunteers will be available to help visitors locate the names of loved ones. A Vietnam Welcome Home ceremony will take place this Saturday at the McAllen Convention Center from 8 AM to 6 PM all day Saturday.
