Red Tide is still an issue on South Padre Island, but it's not as bad as once thought.

The Cameron County Emergency Coordinator says levels of Red Tide in the water are "Low to Moderate."

He adds, Red Tide does not pose any serious health concerns, just the possibility of some coughing and sneezing.

Red Tide has been on south padre island on and off for the past three months.
