Raymomdville I.S.D. Officer Charged with DWI Refusal

A Raymondville I.S.D. police officer was arrested and charged with DWI on Wednesday evening.
Gabriel Serna Garcia was allegedly driving under the influence, but was charged with DWI refusal when he was caught speeding on Combes road in San Benito. The officer, who pulled Garcia over, detected alcohol on Garcia's breath and he refused to complete a breathalyzer test, but did admit to drinking.
The superintendent for Raymondville I.S.D. says the district cannot comment on personnel matters, but did day they will handle the situation.
