Friends and family say goodbye to Shannon Stone, the firefighter who fell to his death at a Texas Rangers game.
Funeral services were held Monday for the man who fell to his death while reaching for a foul ball tossed their way during a Texas Rangers game.
Services were held in Brownwood, where 39-year-old Shannon Stone had been a firefighter for 18 years.
He was remembered at a memorial service that was then followed by a procession of firefighters and emergency vehicles.
Stone died after tumbling headfirst over a rail and falling 20 feet onto concrete during a Rangers game Thursday night.
He was trying to catch a souvenir foul ball thrown to his 6-year-old son, Cooper, who witnessed the fall.
