According to Mexico's Attorney Generals Office, Ramon Ayala was arrested on Saturday and then released.

Authorities found no grounds to charge Ayala with any crime, after police raided a drug cartel's Christmas party in which he and his band were entertaining. Eleven people were arrested and an arsenal of weapons were seized.
