In Hidalgo county, sheriff deputies are investigating a pseudo cop home invasion that happened on Sunday.

According to investigators, the robbers forced themselves into a home located on FM 493 in Donna. Three vehicles, a car, SUV, and a pickup, pulled up to the home and kicked in the door. All the men were wearing law enforcement gear and demanded money from the homeowners. The men took cell phones, a laptop, and a gold necklace and warned the victims to not call the police.
