In Arroyo City, a propane tank explosion takes down a mobile home, threatening others nearby.
Firefighters say the minute they heard a loud boom, they knew they had a fire on their hands.
Arroyo City Firefighters say, a propane tank exploded this evening on FM 2925, burning a model mobile home to the ground.
Luckily, no one lived inside, but nearby mobile homes were threatened.
There were no injuries.
Chief of Volunteer Firefighters for Arroyo City, John Whelan says this fire had it's obstacles.
"There's a lack of water very few hydrants, the trucks only carry 700 to one thousand gallons of water, a small pumper truck and trying to find some source of water, that's the biggest thing."
Whelan says, only the mobile home was burnt and several feet of grass land was scorched, after the wind blew some debris across the street.
Right now, they are still investigating the cause.
Rio Hondo Firefighters along with the Forestry Service showed up to help put out the blaze, and to provide more water.
