A Houston man accused of stealing money from the City of Brownsville for a failed concert appeared in a Brownsville courtroom on Thursday.
Hiro Hariram went before a judge to face theft charges after taking money to book the group Boys2Men. They were set to perform at the Fourth of July celebration at the Brownsville Sports Park, but the booking agency for Boys2Men did not know anything about the booking in Brownsville.
He is charged with one count of state jail felony theft and one count of third degree felony theft. His bond is set at $30,000 dollars and $20,000 dollars respectively.
