PORT ISABEL - Port Isabel hosted a giant Holiday celebration on Wednesday evening as people gathered near City Hall for the lighting of the Christmas tree.

The Laguna Madre Boys and Girls Club Choirs sang Holiday songs and there was an appearance of Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus at the event. Those gathered enjoyed the music and food and waited for the lighting of the Christmas tree at the end of the ceremony.
