Polls Indicate Voters Disenchanted with Both Political Parties
RIO GRANDE VALLEY - With the 2012 presidential election just ten months away, polls indicate that voters are becoming increasingly disenchanted with the two major political parties.
In fact, those surveys show that disillusioned and often disgusted voters are abandoning both the Republican and Democrat parties at a record number. Political analyst and UTB Professor Dr. Anthony Knopp says that does not appear to be the case here in the Valley, "I think the Valley will continue to vote Democrat, but they are open to considering Republicans. It's just that on a local level most of the offices are only Democratic candidates running."
