Mission police are investigating whether a teen home invasion suspect spent the night at the victim's home while hiding under a bed.

This afternoon, officers responded to a call from a resident saying they detained an armed burglar in their house.  When police got to the scene, they found a young male about 15 years old with an airsoft gun.

The homeowner says he looked at the footage from his security cameras--it shows four suspects entering his property on Wednesday afternoon, but only three of them left.

"Right now, the detectives are attempting to retrieve the video surveillance because now the owner, or the victim in this case, is saying that the suspect was in the home since yesterday and slept in the house overnight," said Sgt. Manny Casas with Mission police.  "They found him under one of the beds in a bedroom that's not being used by anybody.

Since the suspect is a juvenile, police must wait for him to go before a magistrate until they can question the teenager.
