Police believe street racing may be the reason 20 year-old Julio Lacayo was killed on Sunday morning when one of the vehicles racing slammed into the stalled car that Lacayo was standing next too. Lacayo and a friend were waiting for help on the stalled car when a black truck, racing another vehicle, lost control and slammed into the car pinning Lacayo and killing him. Police have looked at surveillance video and have counted up to six suspects involved in the race and now are asking for the public's help in identifying the individuals. Two of the suspects were in the black truck, one a light colored truck and three women in a green convertible. If you have any information on these suspects you are urged to call McAllen Crime Stoppers at 956.687.TIPS.
