Police Searching for Suspect in Walmart Shooting

Police are on the search for 25 year-old Aaron Solorzano who is suspected of shooting one person and stabbing another victim.

Solorzano is wanted for the aggravated robbery at a Walmart McAllen on late Saturday night. Witnesses and the victims say that Solorzano attempted to steal items form Walmart, but he was stopped by the store's Loss Prevention officer. After a struggle with the officer Solorzano pulled out a shot gun and shot the officer and wounded another person trying to help detain Solorzano. Lt. Officer Joel Morales Jr. stated, "He was last seen in Donna, Texas and we believe him to have crossed into Nuevo Progresso, Mexico. We are looking for this individual, if anyone knows his whereabouts, where he can be located, please call McAllen Crime Stoppers at 687.TIPS."
