MCALLEN- Police are investigating their second homicide of the year.  According to police say it happened around 3:45 a.m. outside a residence off the 1300 block of West Gardenia street in McAllen. That's where a Rogelio Salinas, 25, was shot in the head.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

Police have identified the shooter as Jason Garces, 28. A search warrant has been issued for Garces for Murder. Police describe him as a Hispanic male, brown hair and eyes, 5'9 in height and about 190 pounds.
