Authorities say he stormed the store wielding a knife, pushed the sales person to the side and headed to the register.

The robbery took place Monday night around 6:15 as the Boost Mobile off of Price Rd. in Brownsville was closing.

The mystery man made out with several hundred dollars. Investigators believe he had been canvassing the area before he robbed the cell phone store.

"One of the things that was reported, that was prior to the robbery taking place, there was a man seen in the area standing around." said Brownsville Police Dept., spokesman Eddie Garcia.

The robber is described as an Hispanic male in his mid 30's, about five-feet nine inches tall, weighing approximately 220 pounds, with dark hair and dark eyes. The victim also reports the suspect was unshaven at the time of the crime.
