LA FERIA — A La Feria police Corporal has resigned after he faced charges of indecency with a child by contact. Jail records show that Rene Barrientes is accused of three counts of indecency with a child by contact after Barrientes was arrested last Thursday and is accused of molesting a 13 year-old girl for over a ten month period.
