There are new details on the person of interest in the case of missing 12 year-old Karla Rivas from Laredo.
A surveillance video taken at a convenience store, near the home of the missing girl, shows a man walking in wearing a tank top and is the person of interest in the case. Police believe the man may have abducted Rivas who is 29 years-old and is identified as Herman Hernandez Canales.
Riva's mother rented a small room to Canales for about two months and says he visited with them often and said that Canales declared his love for the young girl. Laredo police believe they spotted the girl on surveillance cameras crossing over into Mexico. The FBI is now involved in the case of the missing girl.
