BROWNSVILLE — The Brownsville Police Department is using social media sites to help in getting leads into crimes.The department recently added a Facebook page for the department and it's Crime Stoppers program.

The two pages will keep residents informed on arrests and wanted suspects in various crimes and Officer Trevino says the department has been getting plenty of tips from anonymous visitors to the sites.
