Two men are under arrest in a scheme to place fake eTags on vehicles. Police arrested Ramiro Sanchez, owner of Sanchez Auto Shop, and Victor Salinas who was a clerk at the Cameron County Tax Office. State inspectors discovered that vehicles for sale at Sanchez's auto shop had fake temporary tags. Sanchez admitted to getting the tags from Salinas as Detective Billy Killerbrew stated, "We are starting to see an issue with it, how many are out there we don't know we are going to have to start checking with salvage yard companies and used sales lots."
