BROWNSVILLE - Planned Parenthood, an organization that many women rely on was forced to close one of their locations in the Southmost area due to state budget cuts.

A spokesperson with Planned Parenthood says the location on Southmost had to be closed after two thirds of the Family Funding Budget was slashed through the Texas Legislation. The location served around 5,000 patients and those patients will now have to go to it's main location on Old Port Isabel road.

First, a minor point: the article's writer did not learn proper use of grammar, leaving out a necessary comma in the first sentence after "rely on" and putting the contraction "it's" [meaning it is] where he means the possessive.

A Planned Parenthood had to close. There are many other healthcare providers who do not share PP's ethical and philosophical problems.
