Gear malfunction was likely to blame when a plane made an emergency landing at the Brownsville/South Padre Island International airport on Tuesday.

The initial call came in as a crash landing but was later downgraded. Firefighters responded to the call and no injures were reported. Investigators report that gear malfunction was the rouble the plane had and that there was no fire or fuel leakage.
