Pharr Parks employee arrested for possession of cocaine
PHARR, TX (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — A ordinary traffic stop leads Pharr police to arrest a City Parks employee for possession of a controlled substance.
On Tuesday, October 15th at 6:18 p.m. a Pharr police officer conducted a traffic stop on a gray Chevy Silverado truck on the 200 block of W. Hawk Street.
The driver was identified as Abram Martinez, 33, of Pharr and during questioning Martinez gave consent to the officer to search the vehicle.
The officer did find cocaine in the vehicle and Martinez was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and manufacturing/delivery of controlled substance.
