Parts of Military road were closed off for hours on Wednesday after a power line started a wild fire in Pharr.

Firefighters were called out to the location and worked for hours to put out the fire. Investigators say a faulty electrical pole may be to blame because Magic Valley Electric Cooperative was there to replace the pole. The fire started right across the street from several homes but no damages or injuries were reported.
