The group PETA got involved in a Cameron County criminal case on Monday.

The group is pleading with the DA to tack on additional punishment, if the teen involved in killing a puppy, is convicted. They are asking that the accused be required to undergo psychiatric examination and possibly anger management classes. One teen is accused of kicking and stabbing a puppy to death while the other teen egged him on in the act.
