Officials link ecoli outbreak to petting zoo at Minnesota pumpkin farm. Renee Tessman reports.

(KARE) Three children have come down with bacterial infections after they played with animals at a pumpkin farm in Dayton.

The state Department of Health said Saturday the children are from the Twin Cities area and range in age from 15 months to 7 years.

They've been confirmed with E. coli O157:H7 infections. All three petted goats or cattle at Dehn's Pumpkins on Oct. 12 or 13, and they got sick last week.

One child was hospitalized with hemolytic uremic syndrome, a serious complication that can result in kidney failure. The other two weren't hospitalized.
