Cop arriving to investigate drug store robbery thwarts second hold-up.
A Dayton, Ohio police officer was in the right place at the right time when he saw an attempted robbery taking place at a Walgreeens drug store.
Officer Joshua Campbell was there to pick up a surveillance tape of a robbery that took place at the store a few hours earlier.
When Officer Campbell walked in, he noticed Donald Cotten attempting to rob the clerk.
Campbell moved in stop the robbery, holding the suspect at gunpoint.
Cotten refused to give up without a fight.
He punched Officer Campbell several times, but with the help of a store employee Officer Campbell was eventually able to subdue Cotten and take him into custody.
Cotten is now booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
