The investigation int the Fort Hood shooting may lead to disciplinary action against eight Army officers.
The Associated Press reports, a Pentagon investigation into the shooting suggests the officers should have recognized shooting suspect Major Nidal Hasan's problems and erratic behavior early in his military career. All of the officers supervised Hasan, either during his medical training or during his time as a psychiatrist, at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Defense Secretary Robert Gates is now expected to hand the findings over to the Army to determine if punishment is warranted.
Hasan is accused of killing 13 people during a shooting spree at Fort Hood in Texas last November.
