In an effort to increase awareness of drinking and driving the City of Penitas placed a display on the side of a popular road.

The city wants to remind drivers to not drink and drive during Spring Break. A car that was involved in a major accident was set on the side of Expressway 83 for this week. The smashed vehicle turned many heads as drivers passed by and officials hope that a real life display will show people what may happen when drinking and driving.
